The NEOS Youth Encounter Seminar  was adopted by the Parish Youth Ministry of Saint Raphael Archangel Parish at Rodriguez, Rizal which conducted it during its Youth Camp on December 12-13, 2004 in Sitio Inigan, Barangay Wawa of the same town. Under the enthusiastic guardianship of their parish priest, Rev. Fr. Teofilo Lopez, Jr., MJ (Father Teo) more than thirty teenagers spent quality time with the Lord along the banks of Wawa river, playing, praying, singing and reflecting.  Father Teo is also the Spiritual Director of Kairos Family and Life Apostolic Foundation.

Going to the venue was so difficult. We had to walk for more than 1 hour upstream of the Wawa River, and crossed the same river several times until we reached the 2-room school building wherer the youth camp was conducted  There was no electricity in the venue. We also have to sleep on top of the desks of the pupils.

But the experience of the team, and the participants were so wonderful that the ardous journey and the hardship were all worthwhile.
