On Palm Sunday, April 4, 2004, Kairos members conducted the very first Basic Kairos Seminar, a recollection  based on the Holy Scriptures that inspired the name of the community, Mark 1:15. The recollection was for the staff and applicants of Harvey Manpower Services, an employment agency involved in  sending OFWs to other countries. There were around 50 participants who were greatly blessed with the action- reflection method and Holy Spirit- centered culminating activity. The celebration of the Holy Eucharist was presided over by Father Teo who regalled the participants with his hilarious reflections on the plight of  being himself a migrant missionary in Mexico.

This outreach to OFWs is a first for Kairos, and it is our prayer that we can enrich this ministry as more and more families, including those of our own members are affected with the OFW phenomenon.
